Emulsion of Wild Chaga Mushroom-Sublingual Drops

This is the most potent wild mushroom extract known.  This is no common mushroom.  Chaga-o-Power is made from the rare chaga fungus found only on a rare amount of wild birch trees.  It is emulsified in organic extra virgin olive oil, the legendary oil of wild oregano P73, and a multiple spice extract, for efficient delivery and speedy benefits.

For thousands of years chaga has been revered throughout the world as a precious "Gift from God" and nature's "King of Herbs." Ancient Asian herbalists relied upon chaga in a tea or powder form to maintain a healthy life balance.  Chaga also contains virtually every known nutrient in significant quantities.

Twenty to fifty drops per day taken sublingually provide a potent source of betulin and betulinic acid. It is an excellent source of B vitamins and also minerals. The primary active ingredients in chaga are a variety of triterpenes and sterols, including lanosterol, ergosterol inotodials, saponins, and polysaccharides. Thus, Chag-o-Power is incomparable in its wild and raw powers.

An excellent source of potent antioxidants, chaga is also the world's top source of the powerful antioxidant enzyme SOD (superoxide dismutase). The ORAC status of chaga is significant, at 14,000 units per three ounces.  Anything above 500 is considered exceedingly powerful.

Chaga is the subject of intensive research.  Modern research is beginning to unlock the secrets of this powerful natural herb, so revered throughout antiquity. It is now known:  whole food supplements are more effective than isolated compounds extracted from these natural products.  See The Cure is in the Forest and Chag-o-Charge.

Place the drops under the tongue, let them absorb for a minute, and consume the remainder.

Directions:  Take 20 or more drops under the tongue or in juice or yogurt daily.  For an active lifestyle, take as often as needed. Shake well before using.

More about the Chaga Mushroom

The chaga mushroom (Inonotus obliquus) is a fungus that grows on birch trees and eventually results in the death of its host. The visible growth on the tree, also known as tinder conk for its use in igniting fires, is solid, black and crumbly, similar to a lump of charcoal.

Chaga was unknown in the western world until Russian author and later Nobel laureate Alexandr Solzhenitsyn introduced it to the world in his novel Cancer Ward, whose protagonist is cured of cancer with the help of chaga. Cancer Ward is thought to be autobiographical, as Solzhenitsyn suffered from cancer himself.  He wrote, "He could not imagine any greater joy than to go away into the woods for months on end, to break off this chaga, crumble it, boil it up on a campfire, drink it and get well, like an animal."

In folk remedies the chaga mushroom has also been used in the treatment of various stomach problems, tuberculosis, hypertension, viral infections, cardiovascular disease and diabetes.

The chaga mushroom can be found in the wild in northern climates in birches.  Although chaga may also grow in other types of trees, the growths on those trees are not thought to be as useful, as many of chaga's benefits originate from the way it concentrates substances in the birch.

Chaga has been traditionally consumed as a tea.  Chaga tastes similar to ordinary tea or coffee. After crumbling the mushroom it is brewed for several hours or even days to extract the active ingredients. Some sources recommend boiling this concoction for maximum efficacy, others advise against boiling.

For many people a more practical approach would be to purchase a Chaga supplement.  The proper dosing of chaga mushroom is unknown.

Based on several studies chaga has anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, immuno-stimulating, anti-hyperglycemic, pain-relieving and anti-ulcer properties. In a Japanese study chaga extract displayed higher anti-oxidant activity than other tested medicinal mushrooms. It also has activity against blood clots and hyperglycemia (elevated blood sugar).

Chaga mushroom is often claimed to be "free of side effects because it is natural", but being "natural" does not automatically make anything free of adverse effects.

Whether chaga could affect the metabolism of other drugs or supplements is not known, so those who are on any medication should be careful. One should always discuss the use of any such supplements with one's doctor.
